Past Projects

Since its establishment, the Academy has been dynamically promoting the achievements of Russian entrepreneurs; this has been largely achieved through the publication of various books and almanacs, dedicated to the history and the development of business in Russia. Jointly, with ASMO-press, the Academy has an ongoing program of publishing a series of unique beautifully presented books which are unsurpassed in quality of printing and design elegance.

In 1991 the publishing project "Darin" was started. The main purpose of the project was the support of Russian entrepreneurs; featuring the most successful enterprises, and dynamic entrepreneur leaders in their publications. The Academy and ASMO Press are striving to encourage the development a positive attitude within the government body as well as the general populace for new type of national entrepreneurs.

  • In 1992 the publishing of a series of books titled “The Moscow Business Elite” had began; due to its success it had turned into an annual release. The following are some of the milestones in the publishing activities of the Academy and ASMO Press:
  • 1994 - An exclusive publication was released: "Business Elite. Charm",
  • 1995 - "Tourism- First Class" and "Banks of Russia" successfully released,
  • 1995 and 1996 saw publications such as "Business Elite. CIS" and " Oil and Gas" released successfully,
  • 1997- "Encyclopedia of Moscow Entrepreneurs"
  • 1997 -three volumes of the "Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs,” and "Oil Industries Complex", was successfully launched into the Russian market
  • 1998 - "Transport of Russia", "Eastern Europe: a Gate to the International Market", two parts of the “Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs" was released,
  • 1999 – “Agribusiness in Russia”
  • 2000 - "A Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs", "A Golden Book of Russia", and "A Golden Book of Russia. XXI Century", which embarked a new series of publications titled "XXI Century. Business Elite"
  • 2001-2002 - "The Russian State. Natural Recourses. Mining Industries. Energy-complex"," The Russian State. Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs", two volumes of "A Golden Book of Russia. The year 2001","Famous Women of Russia", which has became an annual publication since then. (All these, and many more publications, are available at the website of the Academy and ASMO-press.
  • Two volumes of "A Golden Book of Russia. The year 2002" "Russia's Natural Resources Oil and Gas Industry. Power Engineering. The year 2002".

All of the above publications are distributed to the following: the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Russian Government Buildings, Federal Council, foreign Embassies in Moscow, representatives of international NGOs, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, International News Agencies, exhibitions and fairs. They can also be found in the libraries of the President of the USA, General Secretary of the UN, the Mayors of New York, Washington DC, Tokyo, as well as leading Russian business people, politicians and academics.

Special editions of these publications in beautiful golden binding, made by the famous antiquaries chain Sofrino were presented to Alexey II, the Patriarch of all-Russia, Yuri Luzhkov, Mayor of Moscow and Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. "This publication allows us to learn about the priority issues of which will arise in the spheres of economics and society in the nearest future. I expect that the publication "Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs" will feature the economic life of the capital Moscow, whose main task is to be a model for growth and development of all cities in Russia", Alexey II, Patriarch of Russia.

"The “Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs" broadly features the current economic state of Russia and its regions, it contains materials about various industries, agriculture, banking system, spheres of operation of many enterprise and companies, financial institutions, prominent entrepreneurs, which define the present and the future of Russia", Gennadi Seleznev, Chairman of the State Duma (Parlament) of the Federal Council, Russian Federation.

Yuri Luzhkov, the Mayor of Moscow, called “The Golden Book of Russian Entrepreneurs", "….an annual manuscript of current transformations. This publication reflects the tendencies of the recent times, skillfully combining historical materials with articles about the vital problems of Moscow region. This publication raises important issues of urban life, while presenting a number of the best charity organizations and philanthropists. The book underlines the continuity of the traditions of Moscow entrepreneurs".
