For the years passed since the institution of the award the best public and non-commercial associations as well as patrons and philanthropists who are rightly regarded as the business elite of Russia have become its laureates. Among them are: RAO Gazprom, The Moscow Confectionery Red October, RAO UES of Russia, AvtoVAZ, JSC Russian Gold, JSC Trekhgornaya Manufactura, JSC LUKoil, RAO Norilsky Nickel, the brewery Baltica and many others.

Solemn ceremonies of award presentation were held at the best Moscow halls - the Centre of International Trade, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the business-centre of President-Hotel. The laureates were congratulated by prominent public and political figures, stars of the Russian stage, the business elite of Moscow and Russia, foreign guests.

Since 2000 the "Business-Olympus" award has also been presented on behalf of The Russian Academy of Business founded at the initiative of 45 subjects of the Russian  Federation.

On March 1, 2001 the Fourth Solemn Ceremony of presenting the Russian National "Business-Olympus" Award for the year 2000 was held at the Public Central Concert Hall Russia.

Awards were presented in 12 nominations. In addition to major nominations, The Russian Academy of Business instituted 10 special prizes.

It was the most striking and spectacular presentation ceremony for the whole history of the award. In honour of the laureates of the award The Russian Academy of Business, together with the Public Corporation Luberetsky Bread Baking Plant set up the record for Guinness Book. They baked a 30.5-metre long cake, weighing 900 kg.
